About the event

Teams develop an infrastructure proposal for a community. The Top 10 teams work with mentors before presenting their designs and scale models to professional jurors.

What teams submit

  • Initial design proposal
  • Finalists: detailed proposal and presentation materials
  • Finalists: scale model for exhibition

What judges assess

  • Engineering soundness and relevant codes
  • Practicality and realistic costs
  • Originality, sustainability, and community needs
  • Presentation clarity

Who can join

College engineering and senior high school (Grades 11–12) STEM teams across the Philippines.

Your team

  • 3 to 5 students from the same school or campus
  • One team leader handles registration
  • SHS teams need a faculty adviser; advisers are optional for college teams

Timeline

Registration closes on November 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM. Proposal and mentoring dates will be announced.

  1. Team registration

    Deadline: 11:59 PM. Submit one entry per team, with the required documents. Review the official competition primer before registering.

  2. TBA

    Initial proposal

    Study the competition case and submit your infrastructure design.

  3. TBA

    Top 10 mentoring

    Selected teams refine their proposals and prepare scale models with mentors.

  4. Grand Finals

    Present your proposal and scale model to professional jurors at DLSU.

How to join

Complete your team’s registration by November 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

  1. Prepare your documents

    Use the checklist. If a fee applies, follow CES's payment instructions.

  2. Submit your registration

    The team leader completes the official Infrastructure Challenge form. Sign in to a Google account to upload the required documents.

  • School IDs and proof of enrollment
  • Signed Data Privacy waivers
  • Faculty adviser details for SHS teams
  • Payment proof, if a registration fee applies

No. Your team roster is final once the registration form is submitted.

What are the prizes?

CES will announce the prizes.

Where is the venue?

CES will announce the venue, start time and campus entry instructions for this event.

Can I attend as a spectator?

Spectator access is not yet confirmed. Follow CES's event-specific admission instructions when they are announced.
